Guthrie Jones & Jones Bala
Bala is a small town situated within the Snowdonia National Park in an area of outstanding natural beauty at the edge of Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) which is the largest natural lake in Wales.
The town has a strong Welsh cultural tradition and the 2011 census results indicate that 97.5% of the schoolchildren speak Welsh.
The economy is now heavily dependent on tourism. Locals and visitors alike can participate in watersports on the lake and on the river Tryweryn nearby where the National White Water Centre is situated. Those enjoying mountain walking can walk the Berwyn range, the Arans and the Arenig.
