About Bala
Bala is a small town situated within the Snowdonia National Park in an area of outstanding natural beauty at the edge of Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) which is the largest natural lake in Wales.
The town has a strong Welsh cultural tradition​ and the 2011 census results indicate that 97.5% of the schoolchildren speak Welsh.
