Guthrie Jones & Jones is a long established law firm in Bala and Dolgellau with a new office having opened in Denbigh in December 2010. We are at Corwen on Tuesdays and we are available to conduct home-visits. We have considerable experience in serving local people and our communities with the partners and staff priding themselves on their long-standing reputation for providing a professional service to their clients.

The partners Nansi Roberts Thirsk, Dylan Edwards and Osian Roberts to take a deep interest in serving their community both within and outside their professional roles.

A BRIEF HISTORY
Guthrie Jones and Jones was established in the 1880s when John Roberts Jones amalgamated his practice in Bala with the Dolgellau firm, R Guthrie Jones. Following the inception of the firm there have been four generations of solicitors from John Roberts Jones' family, Nansi Roberts Thirsk being the most recent. Guthrie Jones and Jones incorporated the firm of Hugh J Rowlands and Co. based in Barmouth Gwynedd in the mid-1980's

The current partnership between Nansi Thirsk and Dylan Edwards was formed in 1998, with Osian Roberts joining the partnership in 2010.

We work through the medium of Welsh and English. Our Osian Roberts is also fluent in Spanish.
